Ford Transit 4×4 V-Trail Demo Campervan

Usually at Vanguard we only keep Demo vehicles for 6 months but we were that blown away with the all round performance and safety of the Ford Trail 4X4 that we have had it over a year now…

So we installed the Roamer 460AH battery for power and what a power plant it is complete with digital monitor and an app for your phone to view data in real time. Combined with Renogy 3000w Inverter/Charger it can easily power induction Hobs, Air Fryers, Kettles while off Grid.

Power to the Battery is from the Renogy 50A DC Charger on the move and when connected to shore a whopping 90a charge is possible to rapid charge your Lithium Battery.

Heating and water is from the mighty Truma D6E an heating system that runs of Diesel or Electric or a combination of both for rapid water and air heating. Also installed is Underfloor Heating complete with a digital display which can be used on the move just like can the Truma Combi if it gets really cold.

The compact but efficient kitchen area is perfect for preparing food after a day out. The Double induction Hob provides safe and rapid heating of food even when off grid due to the large onboard inverter.

Also a integrated into the Kitchen is a 50 liter Dometic Fridge/Freezer keeping your food fresh for days. Can Stainless Steel recessed Sink with Mixer Tap, Three large drawers, a cutlery drawer and pull out split level larder gives you plenty of storage and a overhead dimmable strip light finishes off this perfectly formed kitchen.

An Electric rear bed can be effortlessly lowered or stored away at a touch of a button opening up the rear of the van for daily use. The Bed is fitted with a Memory Foam mattress and with an overall size of 6ft2 x 4ft with backlit recessed panels it will provide a comfortable area for a great night’s sleep.

Outside we fitted the F45 Awning and four awning lights two on both sides again all dimmable. Extra Lighting on the front comes in the form of a 4ft Light Bar and side Spots to turn night into day, we also fitted rear Spots.

The outside jewelry comes from Rover USA in the form of a Rear Wheel Carrier with integrated Roof Ladder, Accessory Rack with Expedition Box and a Roof Rack with Tie-down Points for all you kit.

For traction we fitted Rouge Alloys with BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A All season tire making this beast, a go anywhere, all season, fully loaded one of a kind Camper.
