From Panel van to Cosy Campervan…

When a customer gets in touch and says they have an idea for a bespoke camper conversion I’m always happy to see what they have designed.

Been an apprentice trained cabinet maker there is no better feeling than creating a Campervan from a customer’s sketch then seeing their delight when you open the door to their brand new Campervan.

This VW T5 started life as a panel van, firstly we removed the metal work for the Privacy Glass then in with the Insulation, Ply Panels and then the Carpet Lining. New ply floor ready for the Altro flooring and then in with the six privacy windows that’s the trimming done let’s build a camper.

We built a unit to take the Smev two burner hob then constructed the seating area and storage. Then in with the bits you really don’t see the 240v Hook up with two plug sockets, Leisure Battery with Intelligent Split Relay, 12v power point for charging IPhones and devices and a C-Tek charger to keep everything running on Hook-up.
